The Woods
in my sleep, i see the woods.
unending, moving, heavy with
life and water.
foxes and bird feathers.
i hear songs, i see dances.
something awaits;
in my sleep, i turn and suffer.
good bye, dreams.
one by one they fall,
reveal another cavity in
the creation of myself.
i claw at my own skin.
give me a way out,
let me follow in another
way; let me be someone new,
one who never remembers this one.
one by one they fall, until
i am empty, like the space
between galaxies.
